Business Isle of Man have recently joined into partnership with Cambridge Cleantech, one of the UK’s leading cleantech networks, to provide support for the Islands cleantech sector. Cambridge Cleantech supports the growth of sustainable, ‘clean technology’ companies in the United Kingdom. Their members range from start-ups with smart ideas in sustainable energy, water and waste, to multinational conglomerates working to reduce their environmental impact.
Martin Garratt, Chief Executive of Cambridge Cleantech, will be in attendance at this forum event. Martin has a wealth of knowledge with previous experience as an Environmental Manager for IBM and further roles in governmental liaison positions whilst working for Boots the Chemists. Martin will present details of how Cambridge Cleantech have grown to become a global hub for cleantech innovation and will facilitate a workshop on how they can support individuals and organisations on the Island grasp opportunities within the sector.
