Domestic Event Fund - Winter Event Scheme

Domestic Event Fund - Winter Event Support

This application form is for events taking place from 1 October 2025 onwards, within single hospitality, leisure or retail venues. As part of an extension to the Domestic Event Fund, commercial venues can apply for financial support for in-house events during the winter of 2025/26.

With the introduction of the Local Economy Strategy, additional funding has been allocated to reopen the single venue hospitality route for the Domestic Event Fund. This funding aims to support events in single venues, such as live music, entertainment, theme nights, workshops, and markets.

Eligible venues may receive up to £2,000 in support, covering up to 80% of the total costs, with the remaining portion to be covered by the event organiser. This £2,000 can be used for a single event or across a series of events, with a recommended minimum claim amount of £250 per application. If you wish to make a claim for a smaller amount please contact us and we will be happy to work with you on this.

Please note that this funding applies only to upcoming events and cannot be used for events that have already taken place. Support is available for events scheduled between 1 October 2025 and 31 March 2026. We recommend reading the full guidelines (page 9) ahead of submitting an application. Full terms and conditions that would apply to any offer of funding are available here.

To ensure there is enough time to process your application and address any follow-up queries, we kindly ask that applications are submitted at least two weeks before the event date.

If you wish to apply for larger events through the main route of the Domestic Event Fund please use the dedicated form available here.
